Tamarisk Heating & Cooling

Sample landing page and logo refresh for a trades business

Sample concept, not client work. This is a fictional project made to show our style. It doesn't depict a real client, result or testimonial.

The brief we invented

A small crew that services evaporative coolers in summer and furnaces in winter. Customers find them on their phone, usually when something has just stopped working. They needed one page that says what they fix, where they work, and how to book, readable on a bad connection at 7 a.m. Their old logo was a snowflake and a sun glued together.

One page, built to be called from

The mockup leads with a phone number the size of a thumb, then the two seasons as two plain blocks: coolers and furnaces. Below, a short list of what a visit covers, the service area, and a form that asks for four things only. That's the difference between a landing page and a five-page site. Everything on it is designed to get one booking.

The mark, before and after

The invented "before" is a snowflake overlapping a sun, in two clashing blues and an orange, with the name set in three different fonts. It's labelled so you don't mistake it for a real logo. The refresh keeps the idea of two seasons and drops everything else. A single tamarisk sprig, drawn as a rounded feathery branch, whose left half is cool teal and right half warm clay, set above a clean wordmark.

Teal means cooling, clay means heating. We use them that way on every page so nobody has to read to know which service they're on.

Where the refreshed mark goes

Van door. Mark and phone number only.
Landing page header. Tap-to-call button in clay.
Booking confirmation text. Plain text with the mark as a small image.
